1. The Offer
E.ON Next Limited (company number 03782443) (“E.ON Next”) are offering existing E.ON Next customers a chance to win a UK Forest Holidays break when they have a Pay As You Go Smart Meter installed between 01/01/2024 – 30/06/2024 (the “Prize Draw”). The Offer is limited to E.ON Next Customers age 18+. Internet access required. (Eligibility Criteria set out in clause 3).

2. Qualifying Period: Customers must complete their Pay As You Go Smart Meter installation between 01/01/2024 – 30/06/2024.

3. Eligibility Criteria
To be entered into the Prize Draw you must:
3.1. have a registered account and supply of gas and/or electricity with E.ON Next at the time of the Prize Draw; and
3.2. must be over 18 years of age and be the account holder to be entered into the Prize Draw; and
3.3. have had a classic Prepayment Meter for at least one fuel which has been replaced; and
3.4. be in Pay As You Go mode when the Prize Draws are made; and
3.5. have successfully completed a communicating Pay As You Go Smart Meter installation at the address supplied by E.ON Next within the Qualifying Period (“the Eligible Customer”).
3.6. Customers who have a Smart Pay As You Go Meter installed for debt or had a Standard Credit Meter prior to exchange remotely will not be entered into the Prize Draw. If a customer has a Classic Prepayment Meter exchanged and placed in to credit mode they will not be eligible for the Prize Draw, however, the customer will become eligible for the next Prize Draw once the Meter starts operating in Pay As You Go mode during the qualifying period.
3.7. Where a customer’s Smart Pay As You Go details have not been updated at the time of the Prize Draw, they will be entered into the next Prize Draw.
3.8. Pay As You Go Smart Meter installations are subject to, but not limited to, the following conditions:
3.8.1. suitable access to the Meter point to carry out Meter exchange, which the Eligible Customer is required to provide; and
3.8.2. suitability and compatibility of Smart Metering system based on the customer’s needs and technical assessment which will be determined by E.ON Next and/or its agents during the appointment; and
3.8.3. any other conditions preventing safe and compliant installation of the Pay As You Go Smart Meter.

4. To participate Eligible Customers must have a valid email address and internet to receive information about the Prize Draw, including the Winner Notification email and to claim the Prize.

6. The Prize:
6.1. There are 10 Forest Holidays breaks for up to 4 people to be won each month for 6 consecutive months (60 total), each break worth up to a maximum value of £1500 throughout the promotion (subject to final booking details, including, but not limited to, dates, location, number of guests) and pre-paid card to the value of £500 towards the cost of travel expenses and spending money.

6.3. The Prize will be booked by the Administrator on behalf of the Prize Winner and the Prize Winner will be asked to provide 3 dates and 3 preferred locations to the Administrator, with at least 14 days’ notice of their earliest required arrival date. The Administrator will contact the Prize Winner within 7 days confirming availability for the properties and dates requested, the Prize Winner must respond providing acceptance of the booking within 7 days. Once the Prize Winner has provided acceptance of the booking no changes can be made.
6.4. Cancellation of the booking may result in forfeiting the Prize.
6.5. If the value of the booking is less than £1,500.00 no refund, rebate or credit is available.
6.6. The Forest Holiday booking is on an accommodation basis only. All other expenses including but not limited to travel, will be the Prize Winner’s responsibility.
6.7. Booking dates are subject to availability at the time booking.
6.8. The Forest Holiday stay must be booked within twelve months of accepting the Prize.
6.9. A pre-paid card to the value of £500 towards the cost of travel expenses and spending money.
6.10. The pre-paid card will be issued in the Prize Winner’s name once the Forest Holidays confirmation has been provided.
6.11. The pre-paid card must be treated as cash. Neither the Promoter or the Administrator is responsible for the pre-paid card once it has been issued to the Prize Winner and lost, stolen or damaged cards cannot be replaced.
6.12. The Forest Holiday stay is valid for a single booking only. Once it has been booked, it will not be possible to use again or receive any outstanding credit from the original booking.
6.13. Prize Winners may be required to provide details of each guest prior to check-in.

7. Availability and restrictions:
7.1. The Offer is not available to employees of E.ON Next (unless they are an Eligible Customer), agencies appointed by E.ON Next, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion.
7.2. The Offer is limited to one Prize Draw entry per completed appointment resulting in successful Pay As You Go Smart Meter installation. Eligible Customers with multiple sites will be entered into the Prize Draw once for each site. The Offer is not transferable, redeemable, exchangeable for cash and is not for sale, re-sale or auction. No cash alternative is available.

8. Prize Winners:
8.1. Prize Winners will be drawn on 14/02/2024, 14/03/2024. 12/04/2024, 14/05/2024, 14/06/2024 & 15/07/2024 using a computerised process to randomly select the Prize Winners from the pool of Eligible Customers who have had a Pay As You Go Smart Meter successfully installed during the previous calendar month.
8.2. Eligible Customers can only be entered into one Prize Draw.
8.3. Prize Winners will be notified by email to the email address provided within 5 (five) working days of the Prize Winner Draw Date (Initial Winner Notification Email) and will be provided with the Administrator’s contact details to claim the Prize. If the Prize Winner has not contacted the Administrator within 30 (thirty) days of the Initial Winner Notification Email), a second email (Second Winner Notification Email) will be sent to the Prize Winner. If the Prize Winner does not respond to the Administrator within 30 (thirty) days of the Second Winner Notification Email, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternative Prize Winner will be drawn and notified following the same process.
8.4. The surname and county of residence of the Prize Winner will be made available on request. The Prize Winner may object to their surname or county of residence being published by submitting their objection to [email protected] within 14 (fourteen) days of the Prize Winner Notification date. Without prejudice to a Prize winner’s right to object, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
8.5. If a Prize Winner rejects their Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and an alternative Prize Winner may be drawn.
8.6. It is the Prize Winner’s responsibility to provide correct information; if incorrect details are provided this could delay fulfilment of the Prize or result in forfeiting the Prize.
8.7. No changes can be made once a booking confirmation has been provided to the Prize Winner, including a change of dates or location. No changes can be made once the Prize has been booked. Any cancellation requests once the booking has been made the Prize may forfeited.
8.8. The Prize Winner may be required to provide a valid credit or debit card on arrival to cover any discretionary expenses which are not included in the Prize.


General
9. By accepting the Offer, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The Prizes and Prize Winners are also subject to Forest Holiday’s terms and conditions which can be found at: https://www.forestholidays.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/
9.1. Lock-In Marketing and E.ON Next are not responsible for the quality or availability of the products provided by the Forest Holidays. Any complaints relating to the Forest Holidays stay should be made directly to Forest Holidays.
10. Lock-in Marketing are not responsible for the Pay As You Go Smart Meter installation provided by E.ON Next.
11. E.ON Next and Lock-in Marketing reserve their right to withdraw the offer or provide a substitute offer of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside their control. E.ON Next will provide customers with notice by email if it plans to withdraw the offer. E.ON Next’s right to withdraw the Offer includes such right where E.ON Next discovers or suspects the terms of this Offer are being abused or subject to any fraudulent behaviour.
12. E.ON Next may feature the Prize Winners on any of its media, including but not limited to social media, email and websites for advertising, promotion, publicity and communication purposes without restriction. Prize Winners may object to use and/or publication by submitting their objection to [email protected] within 14 (fourteen) days of accepting the Prize.
13. To the fullest extent permitted by law, E.ON Next’s liability to customers in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss, injury or damage of whatever kind caused in whole or in part by participation in the Offer, or by their failure to perform any of their obligations under these terms and conditions will in no event exceed £100. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits the E.ON Next’s liability for death or personal injury arising from their negligence, or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by the laws of England and Wales.
